　　今天是 12月26日，快樂的圣誕節終于來到了，同時我們又迎來了盼望已久的第二屆英語節的到來。

　　下午四點鐘，隊員們入場了。會場設在學校的學術報告廳，那里早已經是燈火通明，正前方的表演臺四周掛滿五顏六色的氣球，在燈光的照射下，絢麗無比，美麗極了。這時，觀眾臺上也坐滿了人，大廳里開著暖氣，熱烘烘的，整個大廳就像一個大烤箱。

　　隨著主持人宣布，此次英語節正式拉開序幕。首先進行了歌舞表演，精彩的節日讓參賽選手們也放松了心情。演講開始了，第一個上場的是我班的劉汝鴻同學，只見他站在臺上，很輕松地講著，十分流暢，也可能是他久經沙場，習慣了這樣的`比賽吧！（第一屆英語節他也參加了）可是到后面，他有點打頓了，一下子就錯了兩處。這時，我不禁為自己擔心起來，心怦怦直跳，頭上也冒汗了。

　　這時，劉汝鴻講完了，接下來就輪到我了，我十分緊張地從他手中接過話筒，走上舞臺，心跳加劇，“My friends here……”咦？聲音怎么這么小，哦，太緊張了，忘記打開話筒了。我急忙打開開關，放開嗓門，開始了我的演講。

　　我眼睛目視前方，卻不敢看評委，只是集中精力看著桌子，好讓自己的心情平靜下來。我雙手緊緊地握住話筒，手心都握出汗來了，我認真地背著，心里不停地鼓勵自己：“千萬別緊張，千萬不要出錯！”終于，我演講完畢，深深地向評委鞠了一躬，走下臺去。心中的這塊大石頭總算放了下來。

　　接下來，我們班的話劇組上場了，我們使勁為他們鼓掌，話劇按原計劃有條不紊地進行著，我從心底暗暗為他們加油。當我看了別班同學表演的節目是，徹底失望了，他們那精妙的語言，完美的動作和豐富的表情，讓我們個個都看得目瞪口呆。但是，評判結果還沒下來，我們也不能長他人志氣，滅自己威風啊。
