奧運泳池變綠了，各國段子手開始發威了

　　There were farcical scenes at the Olympic synchronized diving final tonight after the pool turned a murky shade of green.

　　在水池變成墨綠色之后，奧運雙人跳水決賽上出現了滑稽的畫面。

　　The five-metre deep diving pool - which was a normal blue colour during the men's event last night - appeared to slowly turn greener as the competition went on.

　　昨晚進行男子跳水項目的時候，這5米深的跳水池還是正常的藍色，然而，隨著比賽的進行，池水似乎逐漸變綠了。

　　British Bronze medal winner Tom Daley noticed the change, tweeting: 'Ermm... what happened?!'

　　獲得銅牌的英國選手湯姆·戴利注意到了這種變化，于是發推文，寫道：“額……，發生了什么?!”

　　Rio officials at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Center have so far been unable to provide an explanation.

　　到目前為止，里約奧運會瑪利亞·倫克水上運動中心的官員們還無法給出一個(合理的)解釋。

　　Several people have speculated that the change is due to algae in the water, perhaps because the pool is lacking in chlorine.

　　一些人推斷，這種變化是由于水中的藻類，也許是因為池水中缺氯。

　　Other theories suggest because pool is outdoors, it can accelerate algae growth if the water is exposed to the sun.

　　其他人指出，因為水池在戶外，如果池水暴曬于陽光下，則會加速藻類生長。

　　這讓我想起……晚餐上的豌豆薄荷湯。

　　奧運跳水池呈現綠色是因為化學品和防曬霜發生了化學反應。

　　人們跳進那樣的碧池里，出來的時候還是滿頭秀發，也沒有長出第三只眼，對此我有點驚訝。

　　就等著史萊克從里約跳水池里出來啦！
