　　When I was six years old, I began to go to school. The first school (which) I attended was a primary school. There were many subjects (which were taught in the school, such as Chinese, arithmetic, history, geography, drawing and so forth. Since I was (became) a student, I studied very hard. My parents were quite proud of me. After I had studied there for three years, I entered a junior high school. When I was twelve years old, I became a student of a senior high school. I still studied very hard. Except on sick leave I was never absent from class. Everybody looked upon me as a model student.

　　我六歲的時候，就開始上學了。我第一個上的`學校是一所國小。學校里教的課目有許多，諸如國文，算術，史地，畫圖等等。既然我是一個學生，我就用功讀書。我父母深以我為榮。我在那邊讀了三年后，就進入初中。我十二歲的時候，就成為一個高中的物理學。我依舊用功讀書。除病假外，我永不缺課。人人都把我看作是一個模范生。
