　　【寫法指要】

　　吊唁信（letters of condolence）是寫給家中有人喪亡的親友以表慰問的信函。寫這類信要求態度認真、感情真摯。信文的措辭要嚴謹，不能濫用辭藻，切忌寫“he /she was to young to die!”等語句，也不宜提及故去人生命或死亡的細節，以免觸及親人的傷感。

　　二、請柬（invitation card）

　　2．正式請柬和回帖則不像普通書信那樣一行接一行的書寫，而是按意群分行，每行都居中排列印刷。格式和用語較為固定。邀請人和被邀請人都用第三人稱，而且雙方的名字都要寫全名。請柬內容包括邀請的原因、活動地點和時間。如果要求被邀請者答復，可注明r．s．v．p．（即法文“請答復”respondes sil vous plait的縮寫），有時也可用英文“please reply”。如對著裝有要求，也要注明。正式請柬應在10天或兩周前發出。例如下面一則邀請參加宴會的請柬：

　　中學英語教學大綱中明確指出：“寫是書面表達和傳遞信息的交際能力。培養初步寫的能力，是英語教學的目的之一。”在近年的高考中英語寫作也占有相當比重。因此，在高中階段教師應在指導和組織學生進行英語寫作上下功夫，在平時教學中應有計劃有目的地去訓練和提高學生的寫作能力。

　　一、學生能充分認識英語寫作的重要性是寫作能力提高的必要條件。

　　英語寫作能力的提高需要持之以恒的長期訓練。如果學生對寫作重要性認識不夠，他們就不能積極主動地去配合老師搞好寫作訓練，甚至產生逆反心理，產生對立情緒，英語寫作就會半途而廢，達不到預期目的。

　　在平時教學中，老師要經常性地有意識地對學生進行寫作重要性的教育。學生一進入高中就要讓他們了解初中和高中英語教學要求的異同。

　　我給學生找幾份中考和高考題，幫助他們了解中考和高考英語試題對基礎知識和基本技能要求的相同之處和不同之處，引導他們轉變觀念，更新和完善學習方法，要讓他們了解到英語寫作在高考中、實際運用中以及對將來繼續學習英語的重要性。

　　二、指導寫作應注意的幾個問題：

　　3．堅持循序漸進的訓練原則。寫作要先易后難，先短后長，先學會運用簡單句、并列句，后學會用復合句表達，先寫正確句子逐步過渡到圍繞一個人、一件事、一個觀點去寫有中心的文章，由不限定時間到限定時間，由限定時間長到限定時間短，由限定字數少到多……

　　4．分程度要求。對學生的要求不能一刀切，對學習好的要求要高，對學習差的要求要適當低一些。要避免有些學生輕而易舉垂手可得，而有些學生又可望而不可及的情況發生。

　　5．注意講評。要經常指出優點，以利模仿，指出缺點，警示避免。

　　6．鼓勵優秀，耐心幫助差生。充分利用板報、專欄進行優秀作文展覽，或者也可采用傳閱方式進行。但不能放棄或岐視差生，要經常幫助他們樹立信心，掌握寫作方法和技巧。

　　7．基礎知識和能力并重，聽說讀和寫并舉。教師在平時教學中應充分利用一切可以利用的機會啟發引導學生提高自己的寫作水平。如遇到優秀的句、段或篇提示學生注意欣賞作者的表達法，把它們作為范例，在自己寫作中加以模仿和運用。又如遇到英漢表達方法不同之處，提示學生注意英語的正確表達法，切忌出現漢語式的英語。要幫助學生養成正確運用標點符號的好習慣，切忌一點到底的錯誤方法。

　　8．要求學生在寫作中寧簡勿誤，不能養成隨隨便便的習慣，要養成嚴謹推敲的風氣。

　　三、訓練寫作的常用方法。

　　寫作訓練應考慮循序漸進的原則，采取逐步提高的形式進行。

　　1．用學過的詞、短語或句式，模仿課文中的表達法造句。2．換課文中的人物、時態、語態或體裁等改寫課文。3．看圖作文。4．填補式作文。5．寫課文復述材料或寫心得體會。6．將打亂順序的句子按事件發展的時間順序或邏輯關系等整理成一篇完整的短文。7．教師給出題目和提綱讓學生寫作。8．寫日記或周記。9．材料作文。教師給出漢語提示讓學生用英語表達。

　　四、注意糾正學生英語作寫中容易出現的錯誤。

　　學生最初寫作時，教師要給予必要的指導，使他們少犯錯誤。教師還要經常性地例舉錯誤的表達法，提醒學生注意避免。在批閱作文時教師要隨時標出學生錯誤之處，還要隨時記錄學生所犯錯誤，把學生的錯誤加以歸類總結，把普遍性的錯誤提出來，讓學生集體改錯，使他們的語言表達盡可能地規范正確。
