　　My view on divorce

　　Nowadays more and more people voice concern over the ever-rising divorce rate. Some people argue that divorce represents social progress in that at present people are free to have another choice if the original love is gone, while others firmly hold that both parties will be the victims of the unsuccessful marriage—if they are destined to divorce, why should they get married?

　　Personally, I think this question should be probed in depth. On the one hand, the first group is not totally correct because not all the divorces are based on the mutual understanding. Sometimes a person wants to divorce because of money, power or a third party, which is extremely unfair to the spouse. On the other hand, the second opinion seems not so satisfactory because we also witness successful examples of divorce.
