　　I read a article about the memory. I think that it is always true that the older you get ,the less you remember. But the essay said me that it is not true.

　　Human beings have amazing memories. We can recall between 20,000 and 100,000 words in our own language as well as possibly thousands more in foreign language.Memory is like a musclethe more it is used, the better it gets.The more it is neglected, the worse it gets.

　　But many factors are influencing our memories.Firstly,it is a fact that some people were born with better memories.Secondly, different things are kept in different parts of the brain.Ideas,words and numbers are stored in the lefthand side and images, sounds and smells in the righthand side.Thirdly,unusual experiences can produce chmicals such as adrenaline in our body which can boost memory. The memory is amazing.

　　最近，一名女孩在何儀酒店遭到襲擊，引起了各大媒體的關注。后來，很多女孩的自我保護方法到處傳播，教她們如何保護自己。

　　就在這個新聞報道之后，我看到一個漫畫，畫的是一個女孩晚上獨自行走，被人跟蹤，向路人求助。路人熱情地幫她抓到跟蹤者，叫她一起去派出所報案。女孩答應上車后，才知道相互呼應的人都是幫兇，還是出事了。

　　我害怕我們周圍的.一切看起來都很美好，很安全。有時候會有隱藏的危機。如果你遇到危險并尋求幫助，你可能得不到有效的幫助，或者你可能會袖手旁觀。作為一個旁觀者，在責怪別人的同時，我們有沒有想過，如果當時在場，我們會不會勇敢的幫助別人？社會和諧需要每個人的努力去創造。社會上有不和諧的因素，就有先例，別人自然會借鑒，謹慎行事。

　　問題又回到最本質的出發點，那就是女生的安全。雖然學校、家庭、社會教會了我們如何保護自己，如何擺脫危險，但我們真的遇到了危險。女生想自救的時候會求助，但是第一時間沒有得到幫助。

　　女生不在家的時候，父母總是叫我們早點回家，在一起。但最重要的是，女生極度謹慎的時候，還是會或多或少的受到傷害。

　　還有人不斷違反法律禁止的事情。他們倡導和諧社會、法治社會、文明社會。當女性處于弱勢地位時，誰給女性應有的權利和保障？值得深思。與此同時，家庭暴力應該得到更多的關注。為什么兩個人拉著吵？一邊說是情侶，一邊強烈否認？為什么別人習慣性的認為一定是情侶？

　　在教導女性學會保護自己的同時，他們也呼吁男性對女性表現出更多的關心。不要像一句話：“很多父母教女兒保護自己，但很少有父母教兒子不要傷害別人。”

　　Now we’re facing with a choice。 Whether to rent the school dormitory or not depends on different persons。

　　Obviously，the school dormitory is cheaper。 And I think as a university student I can afford it。 But as each coin has two sides，the equipment isn’t very ideal。 If I live in the school dormitory，I cannot occupy the whole toilet。 That must be a terrible problem for a gift。 What’s more? I have to go to bed on time and get up on time next morning。

　　On the other hand，renting a flat near school may solve all these problems except for the expense。 It’ll cost me 800 RMB a month，and the price is considerably high for a no salary university student。 But it’s really attractive to live with few people and have my own space。

　　As mentioned above，I’ve made up my decision to live near school and rent a flat。 Though the price is high，maybe I can find another girl also finding somewhere to live。 And we can rent it together。 Thus reducing our expenses。

She said, square dancing can make her forget her own problems and stay in good health. As to my father, his hobby is watching football games on TV. Among all my hobbies, the favorite one is reading. When I was a little girl, I love reading comic books. When I m getting old, I love fiction very much. I have so much fun from reading them. My favorite fiction is Pride and Prejudice. It not only provides knowledge, but also teaches us the right attitude toward life. I think reading makes my life complete. I will keep on reading. That s my favorite hobby.

　　有時候人應該學會放棄。父母認為學習很重要，所以要求孩子堅持學習，直到上大學。但其實并不是所有的孩子都擅長學習。有些孩子對學習不感興趣。他們擅長其他事情。父母不應該強迫孩子上大學。孩子可以學到自己擅長的東西，比如做飯，修車等等。上大學不是成功的唯一途徑。學習技能也可以成功。

　　人一定要清楚自己在堅持什么，如果堅持對的方向，就應該堅持，但是如果堅持錯的`方向，就需要放棄，去開啟人生的另一個新篇章。

　　人們必須清楚地知道他們堅持什么。如果保持了正確的方向，就應該堅持下去，但是如果走錯了方向，就需要放棄，開始人生新的篇章。

　　As is shown in the above pictures, one woman is at the mercy of fate and has no desire to charge it, while the other tells herself that she must do something to change it.

　　From the two pictures, we can safely draw the conclusion that what really counts is what you think and whether you are willing to take action to make a change or not. The first woman is a typical example of those who have a negative attitude towards their life. They tend to be losers in the competition with the fate, which maes them in a worse condition. So, I prefer to be the second woman who can bravely have a try to fight with destiny. They have a tendency to succeed and have something bright in store for them.

　　As far as I am concerned, there is no denying that it may cost a lot if we wait rather than do something meaningful. Believe in yourself and just have a try!

　　As far as I am concerned，renting a flat close to the university will be a smarter choice。 Compared with school dorm，although the cost of 800 yuan per month is an extra load for the parents，it gives you more freedom as you live alone。 Brave and independent as I am，I will be satisfied with this way of live。 In addition，while the school dorm only provides one restroom on each floor，I can enjoy a comfortable bath in the flat。 What comes last is that you will never bother anybody or be bothered by others。 Since I am an early bird，I don’t want my reading in the morning to be a nightmare of my dormmates。
