　　I am very glad to make a speech here ! Today I'd like to talk something about English.

　　I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

　　When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other kids . Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

　　Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.

　　On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English.

　　I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.

　　I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.

　　I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

　　If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

Second, communicate clearly. Consider each question carefully and respond with total honesty. Remember to make eye contact and maintain good posture. You need to look attentive but also at ease. Third, have a positive and assertive attitude. It's important to appear confident of your ability and optimistic about your future. Finally, be prepared. Present a professional resume and be ready to explain everything in detail.

　　By following the advice above, you are bound to make a good impression on potential employers. Then you will be able to choose the best opportunity for you and take that first step towards success.

　　英語(yǔ)輸出能力是英語(yǔ)教育工作者和英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者共同關(guān)注的一個(gè)問(wèn)題。然而輸出能力的培養(yǎng)并不容易，尤其是有些地方的英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)教育還是以啞巴英語(yǔ)為主，這極大地阻礙了輸出能力的培養(yǎng)。對(duì)于進(jìn)入英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，提高他們的英語(yǔ)輸出能力迫在眉睫。英語(yǔ)即興演講因其快速分析、反應(yīng)和表述能力等諸方面的要求，使其成為提高輸出能力的一個(gè)有力武器。

　　一、英語(yǔ)即興演講

　　即興演講，是在事先并沒(méi)有做任何準(zhǔn)備的情況下，自發(fā)或被要求立即進(jìn)行的當(dāng)眾演講，是一種不憑借文稿來(lái)表情達(dá)意的口語(yǔ)交際活動(dòng)。英語(yǔ)即興演講的成功與否主要取決于以下幾個(gè)方面：

　　1、演講者知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備及心理素質(zhì)

　　演講者平時(shí)要注意廣泛閱讀，擴(kuò)大知識(shí)面，同時(shí)，加強(qiáng)心理素質(zhì)的準(zhǔn)備，加強(qiáng)思想道德、情感信心等各方面的修養(yǎng)。英語(yǔ)即興演講對(duì)英語(yǔ)能力的要求是比較高的，要求具備較大的詞匯量、較強(qiáng)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)音和口語(yǔ)能力。

　　2、快速思維技巧

　　即興演講者必須具有較強(qiáng)的快速思維能力，這實(shí)際上就是一個(gè)快速創(chuàng)作、打腹稿的過(guò)程，具體說(shuō)來(lái)，要經(jīng)過(guò)觀察、抓話題、確定觀點(diǎn)、通篇構(gòu)思（形成框架）、確定關(guān)鍵詞、組織語(yǔ)言、表達(dá)等一系列的思維過(guò)程。

　　即興演講的框架可以按照如下模式來(lái)展開(kāi)：時(shí)間模式（以歷史—現(xiàn)實(shí)—未來(lái)為線索展開(kāi)）；以小見(jiàn)大模式（從具體事件入手，最后得出結(jié)論）；以大見(jiàn)小模式（從事件的大背景和 大道理入手，揭露事物的實(shí)質(zhì)）；比較模式（對(duì)兩事物進(jìn)行對(duì)比論述）；總分模式（將事物分成不同方面加以論述）。

　　3、英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言方面的要求

　　在英語(yǔ)的運(yùn)用方面，要求用詞準(zhǔn)確、語(yǔ)法正確、語(yǔ)言組織有序、語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)正確合理、節(jié)奏與停頓到位、語(yǔ)言流暢、交際能力強(qiáng)。交際能力強(qiáng)是指在遇到不會(huì)的生詞時(shí)，可以繞過(guò)它用不同的方式表達(dá)出來(lái)。

　　二、英語(yǔ)即興演講訓(xùn)練對(duì)英語(yǔ)輸出能力的作用

　　krashen（1981）指出，可理解輸入是語(yǔ)言習(xí)得的關(guān)鍵，它強(qiáng)調(diào)語(yǔ)言輸入（i）的意義必須為習(xí)得者所理解，同時(shí)輸入的語(yǔ)言形式或功能應(yīng)超出現(xiàn)有水平（i+1）。swain（1985）在輸入假設(shè)的基礎(chǔ)上提出了“輸出假設(shè)”，該假設(shè)認(rèn)為，除了必要的可理解輸入外，學(xué)習(xí)者必須有機(jī)會(huì)使用所學(xué)的語(yǔ)言，這樣才有可能達(dá)到流利、類似母語(yǔ)者的水平。此外，教師的推動(dòng)（push）可以促使學(xué)生進(jìn)一步分析目的語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)法、結(jié)構(gòu)以及用法，因而能產(chǎn)生超越目前語(yǔ)言能力（i）的效果，即“i+1”的輸出，也就是可理解輸出。英語(yǔ)即興演講訓(xùn)練就是一個(gè)說(shuō)寫(xiě)結(jié)合的可理解輸出過(guò)程。

　　英語(yǔ)即興演講訓(xùn)練是在老師的組織引導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行的'。筆者將這個(gè)訓(xùn)練放在英語(yǔ)專業(yè)精讀課的前5分鐘。首先由老師給出即興演講的題目，然后給學(xué)生2-3分鐘的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間，這期間要求學(xué)生仔細(xì)審題、確定觀點(diǎn)，之后進(jìn)行框架構(gòu)思，可以用關(guān)鍵詞記錄整個(gè)演講的提綱，但不可以用完整的句子。時(shí)間一到馬上停止，老師隨機(jī)點(diǎn)名上臺(tái)演講。

　　英語(yǔ)即興演講訓(xùn)練實(shí)質(zhì)上是兩種輸出能力，即說(shuō)和寫(xiě)的結(jié)合。我們直接看到的是學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)，但在口語(yǔ)表達(dá)的背后，隱匿著作文構(gòu)思的全過(guò)程。學(xué)生在兩三分鐘的時(shí)間里進(jìn)行了快速構(gòu)思訓(xùn)練，這是一個(gè)思維非常高效的運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)程，課后學(xué)生要馬上把提綱擴(kuò)充成一篇作文，進(jìn)行筆頭輸出訓(xùn)練。畢竟即興演講的限時(shí)性決定了說(shuō)出來(lái)的內(nèi)容還不那么精細(xì)，結(jié)構(gòu)也不太嚴(yán)密，語(yǔ)言也不可能十分準(zhǔn)確，所以在經(jīng)過(guò)書(shū)面作文之后，學(xué)生把要說(shuō)的話變成文稿，對(duì)腹稿進(jìn)行加工潤(rùn)色，寫(xiě)出來(lái)的演講稿會(huì)比之前的腹稿提升很多。這種先說(shuō)后寫(xiě)的即興演講訓(xùn)練方式鍛煉了學(xué)生的快速構(gòu)思能力、快速語(yǔ)言組織能力，英語(yǔ)交際能力。同時(shí)，這種即興演講的超短時(shí)準(zhǔn)備和訓(xùn)練為學(xué)生提供了一個(gè)英語(yǔ)強(qiáng)化輸出的環(huán)境和場(chǎng)所，同學(xué)們還可以從別人那里學(xué)到自己所欠缺的思想、語(yǔ)言、自信等等；另外，每個(gè)人演講過(guò)后，老師都會(huì)對(duì)該生的各方面表現(xiàn)進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià)，對(duì)語(yǔ)言輸出中的問(wèn)題會(huì)著重點(diǎn)評(píng)，對(duì)寫(xiě)出來(lái)的演講稿老師也會(huì)精心批改點(diǎn)評(píng)。老師的有力推動(dòng)更加促進(jìn)了學(xué)生i+1的語(yǔ)言輸出能力。

　　三、結(jié)語(yǔ)

　　英語(yǔ)即興演講訓(xùn)練作為一種口筆頭并重的語(yǔ)言輸出方式，為學(xué)生提供了很好的輸出平臺(tái)，在老師的推動(dòng)下更加促進(jìn)了學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言輸出質(zhì)量。

　　We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely.

　　When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. We must communicate clearly, but must also be sincere and sympathetic. A true friend will understand. Finally, we must not feel guilty about saying no. Sometimes refusing others is the right thing to do. It can save ourselves, and them, a lot of trouble. In short, we cannot please everyone all the time. Refusing favors is a part of life.
