three year ago, i weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which caused significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. like always failing my p.e examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified to speak in public. it was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. she said “ my dear, if you can’t change you figure, why not treat it as your own style. so i began to cautiously employ the new way of thinking. by choosing to change my outlook on life, i developed the confidence to make a difference and finally i found a totally new world.
so my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life, you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace new challenges. and hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantastic speech contest.

當(dāng)我張開(kāi)嘴讓他們跟著我念單詞時(shí)又有同學(xué)舉手提議：“老師，我們今天學(xué)唱英文歌吧！我們能自己跟著磁帶學(xué)，那樣你的嗓子會(huì)好得快些，媽媽說(shuō)嗓子啞了要少說(shuō)話！”多懂事的孩子，只知他們平時(shí)愛(ài)惹我生氣，不知他們竟也知道關(guān)心我！下課了，孩子們硬要把剝好的橘子塞進(jìn)我的`嘴里，說(shuō)：“老師吃了它吧！吃了你的嗓子就會(huì)好了！”在那一刻我感受到了三十多顆幼小的心靈對(duì)我的撫慰，感受到了他們對(duì)我的理解和支持，作為一名幼兒教師我心甘情愿了！
去年十二月，我要教四個(gè)班的英語(yǔ)、要忙于迎接期末考試、要為教師文藝匯演緊張地排練、要為圣誕節(jié)英語(yǔ)晚會(huì)準(zhǔn)備初中七年級(jí)的英語(yǔ)節(jié)目。初中生懂的英語(yǔ)比較少，我沒(méi)法將臺(tái)詞寫(xiě)下來(lái)讓他們自己去背，只能嘴對(duì)嘴的一字一詞地教。緊張的排練和不定時(shí)的加班幾乎壓垮了我，我真想甩手不干了。
有一天幾遍排練下來(lái)后孩子們已經(jīng)練得氣喘吁吁了，我說(shuō)：“你們累了，就早點(diǎn)休息吧！”可是沒(méi)有一個(gè)孩子離開(kāi)我，他們圍在我身邊仰著小臉懇切地說(shuō)：“老師，咱們?cè)倬氁粫?huì)兒吧！我們不累！真的，我們不怕累！”看著孩子們汗津津的小臉，我突然感到自己是那么的軟弱。我說(shuō)，你們不怕，老師也不怕，咱們一起練。排練結(jié)束后，我和孩子們一起笑著鬧著，心里感受到一種從未有過(guò)的輕松，我知道是孩子們幫助了我，鼓舞了我。當(dāng)我在臺(tái)下看著他們成功的表演時(shí)，淚水再也忍不住地流了下來(lái)，作為一名人民教師愛(ài)的奉獻(xiàn)是無(wú)盡的。

Life is unfair.
Success is not measured on the days when the sun shines. Success is measured on the dark, stormy, cloudy days.
If you can't absorb failure, you're never gonna meet success.The thing about life is it's not always easy, and you can't always win. Some point of your life, it hits you. It hits you really really hard.
The person you love doesn't love you back, you get fired, you lose a family member. At some point of your life, you're gonna hit rock bottom.
You're paralyzed, you're like, "Why?" And that why can really really destroy you. Once you start asking yourself, "Why me? Why not the others, why me?
I'm actually a good person, I never did something significantly bad, why the hell did it hit me?" Because that's life.

Nick, a 25-year-old Australian, was born without limbs. He used to be madefun of for looking like a monster. Everything seemed impossible to him. However,Nick never gave up. With great efforts, he finally learned to swim, fish andeven surf. What surprised me is that he completed a university education and gottwo degrees. And now he is the CEO of two companies. Nick believes: Attitude isaltitude. In his eyes, nothing is impossible. He thinks a positive attitude isthe key to success.
After reading Nick’s story, I have been feeling inspired by his spirit.Compared with him, we are healthy enough to enjoy life. Somehow, we are alwaysfrustrated facing difficulties. I think Nick has set a good example to us. Tryto appreciate what we do have and be more persevering and we will achievesuccess in the end.

You are doing a great job and Iwant you to know I am honored to call you a friend.” I know he is sincere. Howdoes it make me fell? Great. But the next day, he gets up on thewrong side side of the bed, picks up the phone and says:” You rascal, you cheat,you crook! You are biggest fraud in town.” How does it make me feel?Terrible.
一天，如果某人情緒甚佳，并打電話給我說(shuō)：“你是世界上最偉大的人。你做得非常好，我想讓你知道把你稱作朋友是我的榮幸。”我知道他是誠(chéng)心的。聽(tīng)了這話我會(huì)有何感受?棒極了。然而第二天，他情緒不佳，拿起電話給我說(shuō)：“你這惡棍，你這騙子，你這個(gè)不誠(chéng)實(shí)的人!你是鎮(zhèn)上最大的.騙子�！蔽矣钟泻胃惺�?非常糟糕。
So the first day when he says, “You are the greatest guy,” I feel great andthe next day when he says, “you rascal,” I feel terrible. Who is controlling mylife? Obviously, he is, Is that the way I want to through life? Not at all. Thatis being externally driven.

I want to be internally driven. When he calls me and says I am the greatestguy it is good to hear those words. But even if he doesn’t say those words, inmy own estimation, I am still a god human being. And the next day when he ripsme apart, he can’t really, because in my own estimation. I am stilla good human being. When people make statements like, “You make me angry, ” thefocus of control is external. But if I say I am angry or I choose to be angry,the focus of control is internal.

青春一生只有一次，因此，重要的'是我們不應(yīng)該把這些年浪費(fèi)在無(wú)所事事和糟糕的生活上。這也是時(shí)候了當(dāng)我們的記憶最好的時(shí)候。在這段時(shí)間里，我們能夠?qū)W到比什么時(shí)候更多的東西
我們變老了。在我們年輕的時(shí)候，我們熱情高漲我們自己的目標(biāo)。我們也努力克服我們生活中的障礙方式。
如果我們意識(shí)到青春是多么珍貴，我們就會(huì)在年輕時(shí)得到滿足以及當(dāng)我們變老的時(shí)候。如果我們浪費(fèi)青春，我們將度過(guò)余生我們的生活希望我們能再次年輕。

There was a thousand-mirror housenear the village.One day ,one dog went to the house ,stood at the door and lookat the mirrors and there were a thousand dogs in them .Then it bit at them andthey bit at it too .So it went back to the village and it told the people thehouse was bad .
The other dog visited the house .It smiled at the mirrors and the dogs inthe mirrors smiled at it too .So it was happy and told the people the house wasreally good.
有兩只狗在村。有一個(gè)千鏡屋在村附近。有一天，一只狗走到屋子里，站在門(mén)口，看著鏡子還有一千條狗在他們。然后它咬他們，咬它。所以它回到村里，它告訴人們，房子是壞的。
另外一只狗參觀了房子。它對(duì)著鏡子和狗在鏡子笑過(guò)。所以很高興，告訴人們這房子真的很好。
