英語(yǔ)四六級(jí)翻譯必知的四個(gè)注意事項(xiàng)
在四六級(jí)的考試中,翻譯成為了同學(xué)們的心頭刺,隨便做會(huì)舍不得這部分分?jǐn)?shù),做了卻是耗時(shí)耗力卻又慘不忍睹。今天小編為同學(xué)們總結(jié)了翻譯的四點(diǎn)技巧,幫助大家更好地拿下翻譯!
1.注意時(shí)態(tài) :漢語(yǔ)當(dāng)中多主動(dòng),英語(yǔ)當(dāng)中多被動(dòng)。
2. 注意用詞: 翻譯重點(diǎn)考察語(yǔ)言的應(yīng)用能力,所以在考試時(shí),應(yīng)盡量避免使用一些過(guò)于簡(jiǎn)單的詞匯,而應(yīng)選擇一些更高級(jí)的詞匯。比如"have to"可以換成"be obliged to","help to"可以換成"contribute to"。
3. 注意搭配: 這里的搭配主要指一些固定搭配。比如“學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)”不用"learn knowledge",而必須用"acquire knowledge";"concern"后面的介詞必須跟"over"而不是"of"等等。 下面給大家總結(jié)出了常見(jiàn)的一些搭配:
動(dòng)詞和名詞的搭配:raise awareness, adopt measures, take steps, adopt approaches
動(dòng)詞詞組的搭配:give a green light to, deepen one’s understanding of, pave the way for
形容詞和名詞的搭配:compelling reason, ample evidence, harsh punishment 名詞詞組搭配:environmental awareness, coverage of crime, health effect
介賓短語(yǔ)的搭配:in the media, on the internet, on television, in newspapers
表示某個(gè)特定意思的習(xí)慣搭配: lead a fulfilling life, close the rich/poor gap, discriminate between right and wrong,have a higher chance of developing cancer, fail to achieve work-life balance
避免中式英文的直接翻譯: improve the problem →solve the problem or improve the situation contact with violence→exposure to violence advertisements about children→advertisements aimed at children.
4. 注意變通詞匯: 另辟蹊徑,試著用幾個(gè)詞去解釋自己突然想不起的單詞或者找同義詞,近義詞來(lái)替換。 如“匿名”對(duì)應(yīng)的單詞是"anonymity",可以用"a unknown name"來(lái)代替。”美化”對(duì)應(yīng)的單詞“beautify”,可以用“make sth more beautiful”來(lái)代替。
